Cottonwood Village is located in the northwest portion of historic Havre, MT. Havre is located on the Montana's High Line, in Hill County.
The park has been named after the large cottonwood trees on the property that provide wonderful shade for its residents. We are located just off Hwy 2, which traverses through the northwest portion of town.
The college, Montana State University-Northern is located a short drive away. Amtrak's daily Empire Builder train service, is located a short distance away and has routes connecting Chicago, IL with Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR.
The larger employers in the area are Health Care providers, College and the Railroad.
Summers are long and warm; the winters are frigid, snowy, and windy. Havre offers recreational opportunities galore. (biking, fishing, boating, water skiing, snowmobile riding, ice fishing, sledding, etc.) You will always find something fun to do in the area!
The City of Havre has a small town feel, yet the community is active and growing. The schools are top-notch and students have a wide variety of successful academic and extracurricular activities to choose from.
Water, sewer, and garbage services are provided by the City of Havre and gas and electric is provided by Northwest Energy and is billed directly to the residents.
Lot rent varies based on location in the park and includes garbage services and snow plowing services in the winter months. Water and sewer charges are billed on a RUBS averaging system. Tenants are required to have home owners or rental insurance.
